Who is the scheme designed for?
Companies that would like to demonstrate that they are ISO 37001/2016 or SANS 1734/2016 aligned but do not require an accredited certification.
What is the difference between accredited and unaccredited certification?
In South Africa, certification bodies may apply to SANAS for accredition of their certification scheme. This degree of certification is often needed by government authorites and listed entities. However most companies only require their suppliers to adopt and align themselves with the relevant standards.
Do you provide a certificate and logo?
Yes, upon completion of the assessment process a “V&V certificate” is issued and is subject to an annual renewal. This includes the standard your company has adopted.
What about updates to the ISO and SANS standards?
In line with the protocol adopted by the certification industry we will have a transition period of up to 3 years before we consider phasing out certifications to updated versions of the anti-bribery standards. We will offer solutions to meet any new anti-bribery standard with the 3-year transition period.
